Our Central Park West Vineyard, named in a nostalgic nod to the New York City origins of the Trinchero family, is located at the southern end of the St. Helena appellation. This 22-acre vineyard is a level site with deep, loamy soils, good sun exposure and excellent air circulation—the ideal situation for producing classic Napa Valley Cabernet.
“Even though this wine bears a New York City name, it screams Napa Valley. In 2007, we hand-picked this vineyard on three separate dates as each block reached optimum ripeness. With these valley floor origins and warm St. Helena climate, this is an opulent, eminently drinkable Cabernet with great dark color. Luscious blueberry and cassis flavors, accented with cocoa and brioche, lead into a smooth, elegant finish.” —Mario Monticelli
